For nearly fifty years, Plastic Abhiyanta has manufactured engineering plastics from Kolkata for industries where components cannot be allowed to fail. What began as one man’s enterprise in 1977 is today one of India’s most trusted names in engineering plastics, sold under a single brand: Anulon.

The Anulon Range of Engineering Plastics

Anulon is not a product. It is a standard. Every sheet, rod and machined component that carries the name is made to the same discipline: correct polymer, correct process, honest specification.

The range spans PP, HDPE, HMHDPE, UHMWPE, LDPE and LLDPE among the polyolefins; extruded polyamide, cast nylon, POM, PC, PMMA, PVC, PET, PEEK, PEI, ABS, HIPS and EVA among the engineering thermoplastics; PTFE and PVDF among the fluoropolymers; TPU among the elastomers; and phenolic laminates and FRP among the thermosets. Each grade is selected for what it must do in service, not for what it is called in a catalogue.

Manufacturing in Kolkata

Four manufacturing plants produce the Anulon range, supported by two fabrication units and two tool rooms equipped with CNC, milling and lathe machines. This lets us take a requirement from raw polymer to finished component under one roof, holding the tolerances that engineering applications demand. Plastic Abhiyanta pioneered polycarbonate roofing sheets in Eastern India and remains a leading manufacturer of PP and HDPE sheets in the country.

Industries We Serve

Anulon components run in steel plants, mines, power stations, cement works and railway systems across India. Wear liners, guide rails, bushes, rollers, gaskets and machined parts replace metal where friction, corrosion, impact or weight makes metal the wrong answer.

In the medical field, Plastic Abhiyanta is India’s largest manufacturer of thermoplastic sheets for the prosthetics and orthotics industry. Our PP, HDPE, LLDPE and EVA sheets become artificial limbs and orthotic devices, material that gives people their mobility back.

In all, our products serve more than thirty industries, from heavy engineering to roofing.
